Is the long thin posts available from vca? Would u happen to have a photo? ThanksSomething else to possibly consider (in addition to getting the clips loosened) is to get the posts changed to the long thin ones. My ears would bleed when wearing VCA earrings for multiple days in a row, but this resolved once I got the posts changed and clips loosened.
I do not have a photo handy at the moment, but yes, VCA will switch out the posts. They have done this for all of my earrings and loosened the clips. Is the long thin posts available from vca? Would u happen to have a photo? Thanks
Yup my friend had the same issue with her Onyx Vintage Alhambra earrings too. She said they were so tight that it made her ears bleed. She eventually had them adjusted at the boutique and now she has no issues. No I don't sleep in them. I think the tightness really causes the ear infections somehow. My right rg vintage alhambra earring sometimes looks a little droopy on my right earlobe, so I tried to use a silicon pad to prop it up a little. I ended up with an ear infection within two days!

hi yes VCA can change the posts for you.
I changed mine for my sweets cos my ears were hurting so bad. . they throb and gets swollen before I changed them. The posts were too thick for my ear hole.
Thanks so much for the photo. Did you get the posts changed to the thinner ones for the vintage too?i think they filed down the sweets for me. And it’s similar to my vintage.

I finally had my right frivole earring loosened by 1mm; but now find it a little too loose. Didn't want to have to send it back again so soon for a readjustment, so I just inserted a little silicon pad behind the ear clip. It feels very comfortable and I haven't had any ear infections since!
While I find the omega ear clips very secure, they are really inconvenient when it comes to adjusting for the perfect fit. Also, I dropped one of my guilloche earrings once (it wasn't a bad drop) and the spring mechanism in the clasp snapped just like that! Had to get it repaired at VCA but my kind SA was able to waive the repair fee for me. These omega backings sure are fragile.
