Seeing as how pink diamonds are unbelievably rare in sizes above 5 or 6 carats (right up there with purple stones), I have a feeling this lady was wearing a very nice pink colored gem, but not a diamond. It's her prerogative if she wants to be petty, but Bee's got the right of it--it's just polite society's way of trying to figure out if you can really play in their sandbox. :yes:

I tell you what, though; if you do want a nice sparkler from Harry W., how about this sapphire beauty? :love:
