If you look at the posts just before yours, they do seem to go away after a couple of days. When I've had similar indentations, they'd go away after a few days. A week later and it's like they were never there.

This is why I'm thankful I could buy mine in the store-I first ordered the large navy croc embossed by phone, and after using it for one outing the sealant on one of the edges was cracking-like, you can actually see the white band underneath. I took it to my local FP shop, and since they had a few in the back, the SA picked one that she felt was the best. According to her, on that defective Swagger the corner that cracked was not made straight, so maybe that's why the weight was unevenly distributed on that side and tore the sealant.

Just now I took the exchanged one out, and so far it seems to be okay-fingers crossed! Have to say though, that with that previous experience I didn't want to risk buying another Swagger over the PCE weekend, otherwise I was eyeing the chalk pebbled colorblock 37 ;)

That would bother me too. Actually, it would drive me nuts! If I received a bag like that I would return it. However, I am fortunate because I live near several FP boutiques and I always buy a bag in the store so that I can actually see it. :cool:

Why do they keep doing that!!!

I STILL have those creases, they are improved but they are still obvious. In fact, I am trying to wait until my return period is almost over to see if those creases go away. The bag has sat with tags on unused, and my return deadline is the 19th. I wanted to give it a chance to fade away on its own, but I think now it may be as good as it ever gets.

If i rub on the creases, I can even feel the indention that has never gone away.

This would bother me to no end, esp on an expensive handbag. I have never had any bag shipped like this/with this problem. If it were me, I would have to return it, but I understand why some don't.

I'm probably going to return it to the FP store. The reason I ordered it was because they didn't have any more black swaggers. It's just disappointing to wait for it to arrive and then Have that happen! Just to be sure though, I'm going to try the hair dryer and the steam trick first, because like I said, it's a perfect bag otherwise!

Can your store order you a new you in the same colour? My mom bought a bag last year that had a crease on it, the sales lady assured her it would come out, and when it didn't they just ordered her new one from another store.
I love the black on black swagger but those creases with drive me nuts, even if they did fade. It's one thing if I(or usually one of my kids) damage my bags, but if I pay good money for a bag, I want to be the one who makes it look less than perfect lol.

I am retuning it, and I am pretty irritated that I have to go to the trouble. I agree with the previous poster, if I buy a new full price bag, I will be the one to damage it. The type of damage I may do would be corner wear or some small scuffing, not 2 U shaped smiley creases! They are so obvious that I never even considered carrying it out, and was just hoping they would fade.

Just called JAX and the black on black Swagger is sold out in the warehouse and in stores.
She said they are making more for the fall, but because of the 60 day return policy I would need to return it now, and then wait and see if they become available.

Should have returned it immediately while I could still get one.

I think this is a shipping error, which I do not understand because Coach certainly has boxes large enough to fit the bag with the handles up. I think they just fold them down to ship for some reason, but it hasn't happened to everyone, just a few.

There was a lovely video earlier today of a green Swagger being unpacked from Macys, and it was completely wrapped and the handles were up.

The creases are gone on mine! I waited several days, left it in my hot car a few times because I was going to return it, and noticed they were looking much better. I finally decided to just use it, and they're completely gone now.
