Handbags without the Bulls... eh hem markup

Also, my bags from Graf and Lantz are fantastic. They are known for their work with felt, but they make leather bags as well. Their current suede collection is a bit heavy, but wonderfully made. They make everything in California.

Well, I would highlight Silent goods, but I am obviously biased. Quite a few things done different to the norm. www.silentgoods.com
I was here to actually mention Silent Goods as I am excited to get my Kickstarter order from them :D (I swear I have no affiliation to the brand). I really liked their breakdown of production cost vs markup etc. Excited to to see the collection.

Dalle Mie Mani (maybe an e on the end of Mani) Laurel Dasso. She has right now 69 items made to order. she also will create custom made. The wait time is weeks, she does all the work herself, so must be patient. I cannot emphasize enough what good quality is the construction!

My budget does not thank you for this link. :) I NEED a Bowler bag.

Came across this brand while looking for a zipped tote. Really sumptuous leather and handmade by an Aussie in Sydney (ships worldwide). I love my branded bags but after downsizing my closet, I’ve sold/given away a lot of my second-tier bags but I love this tote and it will always have a place in my closet:

Linjer is another great no-frills brand using top quality leather. My husband has their briefcase and some of their bag designs are nice (although I don’t own any.)

I love designer bags, but my other love is no name bags made by artisans. My dad brought me back a couple of bags from Argentina and I bought a couple from Mexico a few months ago. However, if you go to Novica.com, you will find the same types of items. In fact, in a boutique in Tulum, I saw the exact bag I had ordered from Novica.

MASSACCESI!!
i have nine of them and can vouch for the quality, the beauty and the very, very reasonable prices. And he frequently offers 20% off sales, plus free shipping and occasionally free lining choices.

I have a few “work horse” bags—the hardcore schleppers that I know can take abuse, carrying my files and all my other stuff for work. My main work totes are not designer. Love41 is a good brand and Whipping Post.

I'm seriously considering a Whipping Post tote now. The cargo tote with the front pocket is kind of calling my name. [emoji7]
