Im glad the experiment is working for you. My mintgreen Louenhide is staying but the Guess is not. It wasnt big enough for my work week and I know I wont use it for anything else.

I like just about all of my bags, but I need to be wowwed by them to justify the case to keep them. I plan on keeping a limited number of smaller interesting bags as a little collection. For the rest I keep, I would like them to be functional. You may have read me post this before, over the last few years I have just indulged myself in buying all sorts of, mostly inexpensive, mostly vintage Coach. For fun, to rehab them etc. Now it’s time to look at what I have with a critical eye.
At first, I thought, a week?? But you hit the nail on the head. That, or at least 4 or 5 days, just feels like the right amount of time to experience how the bags fits in, or not, to my routine.
That's what I did, not with Coach but lots of mid range bags. Now I've found what works for me, and only want to keep the bags I truly use and love. It felt so good to get rid of the bags that were just literally hanging around
Well have chosen to use my other Guess bag this week. We shall see how long I last.
So I have decided the brown Lunch Tote is on its way out. It had been in the back of my mind to let it go since I have not used it in ages and the experience of using for a week has now prompted me to create a Bye Bye pile. Lol Even though it is cute looking and I “could make it work” I realize I have other bags I would rather reach for.
On Wednesday I moved into this new to me Coach Garcia Flap Shoulder Bag in amethyst. Roomy enough. The strap is a tad short. However, while cleaning it I could see the carry strap was detachable. So I am using a fob as a temporary strap extender! I am used to/ spoiled by the thicker vintage leather! This bag from ‘08 is very well made, however it is made with very thin leather! Well, thinner than I am used to. It also has a sheen to it, which is interesting and forgiving of some distressing on the flap. But on the whole, for $35 was a bargain for a well saturated purple
The Guess is staying as it worked for me..Fit everything I usually take to work and was easy to carry.
Might use the Mitzy next week as I'm working a full week...
And I just want to use her.
