So I did move into this bag today, mahagony Ranch, Coach circa 1990. Picked it up at GW in FL several years ago for $25. A steal. There is no question, I am keeping this bag. Just wanted to move into it for a few days  It confirms and is making me conscious that I enjoy roomy flap bags, at least medium sized. I really need to take note of this. That's what I love about this thread. It is really reminding what I like X what works with my day.
Eta, this is about the size of ths Stewardess, a very popular vintage Coach style.
It needs a deep conditioning and I would like to touch up the edges, that are a tad faded. This is from the era when the mahogany had burgundy undertones. It is such a gorgeous piece of leather, at least to me. The leather on this bag is the smooshiest I have ever owned.

A little late for Handbag of the Week...and I'm using my Mulberry Mitzy.
Preloved and got for the princely sum of NZ$100.
She's a keeper for me.
Been looking for another on trademe...but the ones I have seen have all had numbers that are on the fake serial numbers list. And I'm not buying a fake.View attachment 4605350
I've decided my week/clock can start whenever I can make a change lol lol. And if it ends up being less than 7 days, that is good enough too, if I get a strong vibe to keep or let go.

Its a nice colour. I have been looking at a Stewardess for next year but by geez they are pricey.

A Ranch is just as roomy, only no feet and a narrower strap. I also don’t believe they were made in the color range of the Stewie either. But they can be found for a bargain, as the less popular style.
Lol, Considering I love vintage Coach, I don’t have the more popular styles associated with vintage Coach, the Stewardess being one of them. At this point, it would have to at an outrageous bargain price or unusual color for me to get one.

Beautiful leather!

Very much like this...love the red.
Thankyou!
OMG are you kidding me? That is gorgeous!!!
Thankyou! Your beautiful red RM inspired me to dig it out of the closet. I had totally forgotten about it. I think I had stuffed it away because the handles were sadly darkened. Last night tho, I decided to wash them, so I got out an old sonicare toothbrush that I sometimes use for cleaning jewelry, and went at those handles with it & some Dawn dish detergent. I’m so pleased with how they came out. :happydance:
