Asses value, existing policies and what they cover and your actual demand.
Make sure you understand all of the terms and conditions. Do not take the spoken word for granted, request everything in written.
I.e. if the agent tells you your Himalaya Birkin is covered under that "only 9.99/month" home owners policy, it would be good to get that confirmed in written. To exaggerate a little for the dramatic effect.
