Dewey,
It's a black and white nylon siggy print... I'll take a picture of it here in a few minutes and hopefully up load it tomorrow. I'm going to go pack it with some stuff and hang it back on the doorknob. Hopefully that will help soften it up. I'll let you know how it goes!

I bought the white one the first day and I love it. The colors just pop for me. I can't wait for the summer. I have an older hampton tote bag and the leather handles are perfect and very easy to hold.

I got the scribble weekend tote yesterday and used it for the 1st time today. I bent the leather a little to break them in and it worked fine!!! I am now trying to figure what to put in it. My daughter is 2 so I put like 3-4 diapers, wipes, wallet, 2 checkbooks, wristlet and I still have tons of room!!! its a upsize from my small soho hobo. I am in love though!!!

ok - had to post this here...I just bought this today and ADORE it...I don't think the leather on the handle is too stiff at all...very similiar to how my tote from 2 summers ago was, and it softened up nicely w/in a week or so.

it was $198 plus tax...but it only cost me $135 out the door. (I had a $33 balance on a gift card, and a $40 return of an outlet item.)

I honestly won't use it yet...as it's still really winter up here. Not until April maybe...

It's VERY roomy...gonna be able to use a big wallet with this...perfect for summer!

ps - this is my st. patty's day bag(s) (Can you tell I LOVE green? I have FOUR green bags now!)

(using this one now, but will rotate to the next tomorrow)

Those zippers drive me nuts though, Am I the only one? there are so many Coach bags that I love and would buy in a heartbeat if it wasn't for that 1/2 zip.... I don't have any but it seems like it would be a major pain to zip it everytime, Is it? or do you leave it unzipped or try not to unzip it all the way or what?

I have a few bags like this...honestly, I prefer this type of zip to just a dog leash closure.

It DID take me a while to get used to it...but normally I can get my hand in/get out whatever I need w/o fully unzipping it.

yea that will soften up WITHOUT A DOUBT!! I have a gucci (the 'chain') that i had the same problem with but within a few uses it formed to my shoulder PERFECTLY...i actually think its MORE comfy when it FORMS to your shoulder, its like a custom bag!!! :)

BTW, i loveeee the tag haha its so cute! :)

I just got this same bag yesterday - and I thought the handles were a bit stiff for my taste, so I hung it on my closet doorknob overnight with a big rubber band just under the leather part to hold it in place. Gave it just enough bend to have it sit on my shoulder nicely. And I so agree about the zipper comment - I wish this zipped all the way shut, but this is better than nothing or the dogleash closure. The zipper all the way across the top sealed the deal on the Carly for me!

Dewey! I love it in green! Very bold!

Ok I think it's time mine comes out of it's dustbag. If everyone seems to think it will soften up, I'll give it a shot.

BTW, I LOVE your green signature tote... so cute! I'm now wishing I had some green for St. Patrick's Day!

That IS stiff. I bought a tote that size a few years ago and it wasn't like that. It was a little stiff, but once I put stuff in it and put it on my shoulder, you couldn't tell. If you love it, you might take the advice of a previous post and put it on the doorknob with stuff in it for a few days? :confused1:

Love all the green! Oh geesh, now I want a green bag :rolleyes: By the way, I hate those half zippers too. I have a gallery tote with the half zipper, I love the bag but that zipper. Ugh. I usually just leave mine unzipped unless I am going someplace like a crowded mall.
