Visited boutique yesterday and find out the wait for YG vintage hammered earrings are 6 month. RG vintage hammered earrings are 4-5 month. I placed order for RG earrings. Paid in full to lock in the price. I inquired these earrings about a year ago. At the time, the waitlist for them are closed.

Did you ever try on the vintage size earrings and do you find them heavy? I’m debating between vintage and sweet but the list for sweet is current closed.

I have blue agate in vintage size. They are heavier than sweet size earrings but still comfortable for me. I don’t wear any earrings to sleep/overnight though. I do prefer the french clip backing on vintage earrings. They are much more convenient for me and easier to place on and take off. I purposely pick turquoise sweet earrings for the pop of color. Neutral color in sweet size will lost on me. I will recommend try on RG vintage size in boutique since they are open for ordering. If you don’t like it, you can always decline after try on the earrings. And use the fund for other sweet earrings. I hope you find a pair of earrings that is up to your likings.

Thank you! I did try the vintage mop before but found it a bit heavy. My SA said you’ll get used to it but I’m still indecisive.
