I know...me too! I'm normally silver/white gold, but I was just so drawn to the gold on this bag. And yes, I can post modeling pics tonight - I'm a hot mess right now or I would..ha ha...it's literally 107 degrees here and I'm in a tee and sweats. And the price on these at the MK outlet is $348.00 but the one here (Citadel Outlet Mall in Los Angeles) sells it for $300.00 but I found the other one at TJ Maxx for $199.00 so there's a big difference.
Thanks! I think that's the one I'm going with...I was just so drawn to it - it's so pretty, it must be mine. LOLI have this bag with GOLD hardware!! I love gold it makes the bag stand out more. Either one is very nice... but I would choose the gold!

That was my initial feeling too, even though I usually wear more silver/white gold - so I'm keeping it (the gold hardware one)

I'm sure you won't regret it. Yes,I love mine,I have a large one in luggage color and a medium one in navy,both beautiful colors with silver lockI think you made a good choice. They're both gorgeous, but it seems that your gut is saying to go for the gold! I faced the same dilemma last spring when I bought my first Hamilton (the outlet version in turquoise). I had both a SHW and a GHW on my dresser for days trying to decide (and did my room ever smell heavenly!) I eventually chose the SHW, since it had been my first gut choice. I just thought the silver looked a little better with that bag color and the leather on that bag was the nicest. I have both the outlet and the retail versions of the Hamilton, some with SHW, some with gold. Either way, you can't go wrong. And though I love my Hamilton lock satchels, I think the size of the outlet version and its center zip pocket are perfect!

I agree that the size of the outlet version is perfect...not too big, not too small...I saw an outlet exclusive E/W today that I fell in love with, but I wasn't sure if it would be too small? Can you fit very much into the E/W satchel? Or are yours all N/S? Just wondered and thanks again! And lucky you for getting that turquoise Hamilton...it's SO pretty, but I've never seen one live, because they always say they're sold out!

I only own E/W satchels, I don't have a N/S tote (yet!) I find the satchel to be plenty roomy for everyday use, buy I'm not carrying an extra pair of shoes for a commute or anything like that. At the moment, I just really prefer the E/W shape; I personally find the tote to be a little too boxy. My only concern about the size of the satchel is the security of my wallet. Since it is a shallow bag with no large zip compartment, I try to attach my wallet to the key keeper hook. Wallets with wristlet loops are great for this. The added depth of the larger tote is one advantage over the satchel, I guess. That's why I think the outlet Hamilton is, in many ways, the perfect bag!Thanks for the input! Wow, I never thought about that....and you're so right! I just went to the outlet today and got a small E/W satchel that was apparently an outlet exclusive (they said it was) and it's smaller than the outlet E/W ....it was just "cute" and it called to me...ha ha...and that center zipper compartment won me over again! (that and it was the last one so no time for me to think it over really) I still don't have a retail/lifestyle lock version because I just keep loving these for some reason.
