First, in defense of the seller, he/she does not represent these as being authentic Hermes scarves - good for him/her - Ebay seems to have made peace with the sellers of faux Hermes who do not represent the items as authentic, so, I would not worry about reporting
Are they fake ? you bet - a Parures de Samourais at $35 - I'm buying a six pack of em (LOL)
But what can you learn from these?
1. Wow, these fakes are amazingly good .. they are basically in the original cws, the old rule for fake detection - they never made it in THAT cw, so it is fake - no longer works (remember what I have said about the rules are never hard and fast, that rule used to work...)
2. No features are shown - signature, copyright etc - the seller does not have to take the time to show those. But, if this were an auction at $600, how many people would be askIng for an authentication sans photos of features ?
3. About the only tell in the scarf photos (that says these are fake) is the fact that the cws are a bit off. I comment without meticulous comparison to the real cws - from memory - you really need to do a methodical cw comparison (not a snap judgement like I did). The Ebene (brown) in the black cw is too red IMHO. The pastel cw is a bit strident. The Orange and turquoise cw is a bit too turq - maybe they cut corners on the numbers of colors. So, the colors being off is something of a tell for modern fakes but unreliable by itself.
I remember a recent Zabavushka for $800, a real one - but the photography was so crummy (colors clashed badly, a bit like in the fakes, cf supra) the scarf looked hideous. Well, its colors were off due to bad photography not being fake. I remember commenting on how hideous the scarf was in the photos & asking for photos of features.
So, these are good examples of why I am so fussy about having photos of all the features, caretags, in good lighting without obvious color distortion due to photography
So, that is why I am fussy LOL.
Thanks! I learn so much from you.

1. Photo taken in real boutique , note floor
2. Many mod shots
3. See heart shaped box in last photo - dont know if you get one or if it is just to set a mood
4. I think see a lack of jacquard, I would ask for a closeup of the jacquard to be sure and not rush to judgment (feature photos !)

Does anybody remember when I was asked to authenticate one of these that had not been removed from the box (stock photos were used) . I felt bad suggesting the seller actually take a photos of the scarf for sale since these guys are very hard to get back in THAT box
Enjoy ! Learn !
