H Store in St. Barths- Comments Please...

We took a day trip over today.

The store is tiny, but their stock is insanely good (if you like H and are not just after a quota bag). Their RTW and Beach selections are great and they have so many size choices. The wife looked at shoes and mentioned that with H shoes running narrow, she asks for 42 but that most stores never have that size in stock. The SA brought out 4 boxes of size 42 shoes in different styles.

Now, since nowadays everyone seems to only ask about leather.

There was a men’s Bolide on display downstairs but no other bags displayed anywhere in the store. When we walked upstairs, a lady was placing an SO. Another lady came upstairs and asked about bags and was told there weren’t any. Then a few minutes later, another lady was shown a yellow K25. My wife happened to ask the SA that was helping us if by chance they had a Kelly Messenger in the store as she is curious as to how it fits crossbody. The wife ran through her collection of K’s with the SA explaining how the standard 85cm strap doesn’t work for her also explaining that the messenger is a quota bag in NY so we wouldn’t be able to just try one on. The SA was very nice and just told her “No, we do not have any of the messenger in any size. Also, we reserve all of the high demand bags for regular clients so I couldn’t sell you one even if we had it”. We just told her it was no issue and purchased what we had picked out.

Was nice that they could access our French profile from SBH.

Just went in the store today. Amazing shoe selection, home, RTW, but no bags available. The SA was very friendly and told me after December, they were out of bags. It makes sense they hold bags for regular clients, which wouldn’t be me, I just come to St Barths once a year. I guess the regulars would be people living on the island or St Martin or near here. What did impress me is they had 2 Hermès Travel Trolleys available, but that’s insanely overpriced, around €8.500. I guess the lucky days of getting a quota bag in this store are over. Last year they had Birkins and Kellys on display upstairs, this year they replaced the display with home decor. 😮‍💨

Love the St Barths RTW selection (which seems to be 28% less than US)
Service was very friendly and knowledgeable

I didn’t ask to see any bags, but they did show me the racing bolide 45. I’ve always thought it Beautiful but way too heavy for me

ETA: forgot to add that they couldn’t find my US profile but did find FSH (which is listed in their system as my local store, IDKW

ETA: thank you @cad33. I realized that I posted my RTW purchases in latest purchase thread but not here:
Approximate prices listed in the first screenshot. I enlarged the tags in case anyone needs reference numbers
Total price for six items was I think under 10K EU

One of my favourite stores that sadly i don’t get to visit often. Ironically my french profile shows st barts as my home store bc i started my profile there.

Your rtw purchases were amazing.

Made two trips to H SBH in June. One to browse and one to buy. Hope you enjoy the report!

The first trip I just did a quick pop-in and spent about 15 minutes. I did ask to look at one bandana scarf and the sales associate wasn't friendly or unfriendly, she simply showed me the scarf. It was a bit too crowded and I was there with my 12 YO daughter, so we decided to come back another day.

Returned two days later right after they re-open, around 4PM. It wasn't crowded at all except for a few guests speaking French to sales associates. We browsed for a few minutes before an SA offered to help me. We had a blast. It was two days after my birthday, so I wanted to find some fun things. We tried on a slew of enamel bracelets and looked at some scarves. My daughter seemed to enjoy helping me pick out some items. I grabbed a rose gold narrow H bracelet and a pretty rose gold narrow enamel bracelet that imparts a SBH vibe featuring shells and sea motif. Also grabbed a fun Twilly.

I asked her if she had anything "St. Barts specific" and she showed me the cutest sailboat charm made for the regatta. There were four available and I had hard time choosing among the fun colors. She was so patient, helpful and let my daughter weigh in. (Pics attached).

She then suggested I take a look upstairs. I hadn't planned on buying any clothes or belts but...pourquoi non? I appreciated her sales efforts.

As we were browsing she said "Do you want to see something special?"

I was like "YES!" thinking "Is this my Kelly moment?".

She pulls out a big box and opens it. It's big enough for a Kelly. My heart is pounding.

It's the custom, special order blue inside. Hmm....no Kelly today. Knowing this wasn't my quota bag moment (which I'm not in the market for) she showed me the most gorgeous Himalayan and diamond Kelly belt. Jaw. Dropped. I was wearing a simple Theory t-shirt dress but she let me try it on and...not gonna lie...it made a simple t-shirt dress look gorgeous. My daughter and I had to pick our jaws off the ground. It was beautiful. Alas, I wasn't in the market for a 90,000€ belt.

Didn't matter. We browsed a bit longer and had a magnificent time. When we left, my daughter said she had the best time and was thrilled with my purchases. She was excited to see me treat myself for my birthday which warmed my heart. For any of you who have a teen daughter, you know what a win that was.

It's a tiny store in comparison to most and can get very crowded but if it's not busy and you're open to exploring it will be a magical experience!

Loved this store’s RTW stock and how friendly and relaxed the SAs were :) The etoupe silk pants are so comfy and go with everything.

Happy birthday @thatsportsgirl I had a great time at this location too
