Still, I probably wouldn't find them comfortable. But then again, I don't find most shoes at Macy's or Aldo or other low end stores comfortable, either.

For $99, however, they might be worth the price.

I wouldnt know anything about Macy's or Aldo shoes. Havent shopped at either of these stores. However IMO higher price doesnt always mean better quality/comfort. I have boxes and boxes of Jimmy Choo, Valentino and CL shoes just sitting there. Cant walk in them. Meanwhile I live in my Zara shoes. And these are all 4"+ heels

A colleague of mine bought a pair of H&M heels (leather) last year and by the end of the day her feet were almost bulging out of the shoes. They were very uncomfortable on her despite the fact that she drove to work, then sat in the office most of the day (i.e. not much walking). I think Zara's shoes (or anything else for that matter), while still low-quality) are better made than H&Ms. Maybe it's because Zara actually produces an entire shoe collection each season and has somewhat mastered this craft, while H&M only produces a few boots or heels here and there.

What irks me most about both brands: even if the upper is leather - the lining is usually still plastic, which isn't the best for feet. My colleague complained about her feet sweating more than usual in those shoes, which isn't surprising given the poor quality of the insole. I personally think a plastic insole is just as bad as a plastic upper.

I only have one pair of shoes from H&M. It's a pair of flat mid-calf boots and they are real leather. I've had them for about two years and they're so comfortable. I love it! I don't have any experience with the heels though. I used to work there though, and I think you're safer if you stick to the Everyday and Trend line. The Divided department, which is the young trendy department, had cheaper materials in the shoes and they looked cheap and uncomfortable.

I don't have any shoes from H&M but my sis has a pair of high heeled bink booties that she loves, and she walks a lot/ dances with those. She has sensitive feet like mine so I trust her.

BTW I don't like to waste money to shoes i don't know if I will ever wear again, so I stick to brands I know, and agree that Zara has very nice shoes.

Here is Andy wearing boots. She wears a lot of H&M. makes everything looks great
