Can i ask about picotin status for Ginza? i've only been in the B/K/C line, but i'm planning to get a picotin for myself.

Yes, there is a line when the store opens in the morning but it's pretty much for the 4th floor bag section and not just for B/K/C. I guess everyone that lines up asks for a B/K/C but yeah, you still have to cue for a Picotin if you go at opening time.

With that said, It is relatively easier to score a Picotin over a B or K so I don't think lining up in the morning is a necessary

It’s easy to score a picotin but the issue is whether the stores have the inventory of something you might like. Last October, we tried at many boutiques in Tokyo and could only find 3 only - one in ostrich 18, one magnolia 18 and one etain 22.

Wanted to share my experience this week at the Tokyo Ginza Hermes boutique. I lined up three days in a row this week: Tuesday from 10:45am, Wednesday from 9am, and Thursday (today) from 9am. From what I saw, and according to the staff, the boutique gets in approx. 2 Birkins a day, mainly in size 35 and 40. Kelly bags were not in stock on any of the days I was there, and I didn't ask about Constance bags.

On Tuesday, I was able to get #6 in line despite arriving so close to opening. But on Wednesday and Thursday, I was there right at 9am each morning and ended up being #4 in line both times. However, I would really recommend getting there even earlier if you want to have first pick of the Birkins. Possibly even around 8am or 8:30am. At least get there before 9:30/10am or else the line can get VERY long. On Wednesday and Thursday, the line was 8-10+ people by the time 10am rolled around. And usually the Birkins have been claimed by the time #5 or #6 get a chance to look at them. It can also be very cold in the morning around this time of year so make sure to eat a filling breakfast, dress in warm layers and bring something warm to drink!

A quick rundown of the stock I was able to observe:
Tuesday -- b40? in a color I didn't get a look at. Red b30 PHW.
Wednesday -- b40 in a color I didn't get a look at. Craie clemence b35 GHW (I tried this on, see photo below, but passed due to the delicate nature and in the craie color it overwhelmed my frame).
Thursday -- b40 in gold? and bleu nuit togo b35 PHW.

Luckily all that waiting in line paid off because I was able to bring home my new Bleu Nuit b35 beauty today

The price was 1,460,000yen, which ended up being approximately $13,150 USD. I was charged the pre-tax price right off the bat, no need to go to a tax-free counter for the tax refund or anything, so that was very convenient. Really pleased to finally have my first Birkin!
