They did started the sale prior to 6am. I set my alarm for 6am and woke up 20 minutes prior and the sale was in full swing at that time. I was very angry to discover this as many sizes and items were already gone.

The "personal shopper" said that they had one Kelly, but it had already been sold as well as Guillioche H and solid Palladium belt buckles.

I guess I will have to stay up all night next time they advertise the arrival of something big.

They had retail listed at $8900 for the travel kelly then took off 10%, so it was $8010...not much of a discount given its kind of the white elephant in the room

I bought one in 2006 on Bluefly and it was the same price, $8010. I looked it up. It's a very heavy bag(50cm) empty.

^^ I find Hermes travel bags (45cm and over) in all-leather to be generally a little on the impractical side. I had a travel birkin years ago. Very beautiful but it was just too heavy to use as a carry on. Even empty, it is heavy... I ended up letting it go....

It seems odd that H would have a strong public relationship with a discounter like Bluefly. I'm not doubting what you say, it just seems odd!

^^^ ITA! I worked for a high end designer brand and they would always deny working with any discounter even when they were as it's not good for the brand, they'd always say the stock must have come from a customer.....
