Thanks! The strap is comfortable but the leather is very high maintenance. Shows everything, especially fingerprints and scratches. I have to be very careful not to let things press into the leather (like even zippers, studs, or buttons on clothes) because the leather can show dents. I can live with this, though, because the polished finish is so nice!
I wondered about that. So the big question, do you treat it as a high maintenance bag or do you say the hell with it and let it achieve some wear and see what it looks like after it's broken in and not perfect? I can't baby my bags, I have to be able to carry them without a lot of thought.

I treat it as a high maintenance bag, which means it will only be used on days off (never to work. It's not big enough for work anyway), when the weather is nice. I will also rotate this with my other bags, so it won't get used that often, which I hope will keep it pristine.

You're far more patient than I am. Have you treated it with anything?

Wanted to share some recent pictures where I was trying to decide on a new bag.

My Saint Laurent outfit of the day:

I really wanted a bag with a dangling pouch on the strap to match my new Prada Cloudbust Thunder sneakers.

So I ventured into LV to try the LV men's Trio Messenger which I have been eyeing for a while. Doesn't match my Saint Laurent look at all (not that it is supposed to).

Tried on the LV Utility Crossbody. Very nice bag, but not exactly what I was looking for. I would have liked it more with silver hardware. (I love how my Sac de Jour 48hr duffle looks in the background  )

Went with the Prada Brique in polished leather, which I revealed on the Prada forum. Such a beautiful bag! I knew it was the right bag as soon as I tried it on at the Prada boutique at Holts Yorkdale. Had to get one transferred to Saks to use the gift card I got from their tiered-award purchases.

At least I got to try on all of these bags before the lockdown that just took effect, our third one in Toronto. Would have been much harder to decide on these if I couldn't try them on.
I love this look and the moto jacket  I'm just going to say it, you look fantastic in all your outfits.

Maybe you can start a Just Do It-thread for those of us tPF:ers who lately greet every new beach season with

Thank you! Haha! I've been trying to stay slim and it has been difficult during this pandemic. Had to increase my level of exercise due to working at home sometimes and also eating a lot more!

Hi guys, so my dear friend @averagejoe invited me back into the purseforum family (have been quite disconnected from the forum for a couple of years) but I'll try my best to get back into it, well here's a shot with one of my fav recent bags (I'm very into Coach recently so yeah...)

(Hope you guys don't mind to link to the already posted pic somewhere else, please let me know if that's allowed)

What do you guys think of bright colored bags? Do you venture into carrying them or stick just to muted tones?

I prefer colours!

Bright saturated colours are a lot of fun!
