I read up on Danica Curcik - I will sound like a fan girl here but on paper she and Gustaf are an excellent match. She won a Shooting Star Award in Berlin, she had done critically acclaimed theatre work, successful tv-parts and she did a theatre show where she was nude on stage. I'm thinking they will be a brilliant match on screen at the very least [emoji85]

She is a great actress , I've seen her in some Danish movies.

This sounds good. The kind of role an actor like Gustaf can sink his teeth into. A translation of the article.

The film is about the talented ballet dancer Darling, who travels with her husband, choreographer Frans, home to Copenhagen to play the lead in The Royal Theatre's production of Giselle. However, the accident occurred when Darling collapses with pain and a crushed ballet career.

Francis, who has never worked outside Darling, must now find a new dancer to play Giselle, and the choice falls on the very young Polly. As that Polly begins to unfold as Giselle, crumbling Darlings world.

The plot may remind you a little about the American Black Swan , where jealousy between ballet dancers also is the focal point. The Danish counterpart acting according to the press release also about daring to rise again, after everything seems to be over.

I don't know if anything can top what he did in Vi. It remains one of the most disturbing and well acted films I've seen recently.
