[Guide] Quick guide to hiring translators

It depends on the relationship you build with the translator. I was assigned two translators but I ended up becoming way closer to the second one. She was happy to help me out with negotiation, receiving calls from clinics and helping me schedule anything if I needed, etc. I did end up going to many many consults with her but I’m confident she would have been happy to help regardless. She never asked for any commission and was transparent whether she had visited a clinic before (most of them were first visits for her).
It sounds like you had a good translator! It might be a bit of a luck then...

You missed on David  he has even his own website

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to drop a quick guide on this topic as many have contacted me on kkt with questions on how to hire one or who should they hire. Initially i really didnt think i would hire a translator, thinking i would just wing it or perhaps use translation apps on my phone but when it came down to it, i honestly think it was the best decision i made after my choice of doctor hahaha

Translators do WAY more than just translating, from guiding you to bargaining and even booking appointments for you. Also if you get a discount with their help, the service would have just paid for itself!

Who to hire?
The Holy Trinity (from what I gathered on this forum)
Ryan (kkt: ryankim13)
Jude (kkt: spqq)
Brian (kkt: gwbrian)

How to hire?
You can reach out to them on kakaotalk or for those who have trouble adding/messaging Ryan or the other translators like I did due to KakaoTalk's user protection measures, you can book Ryan through his website: gangnambuddy.com

Thanks as always for reading!
Is there a female version of someone like Ryan, Jude, Brian, and David? Most people on this forum are women and would probably prefer a female guide/translator. I personally would prefer a woman because I would feel more safe.

This whole bombshell of Brian getting exposed has made some people in the chats who used him in the past worried. a few people shared and pooled together conversations in a smaller chat who used him or were in the process of using him. and his whole approach is really deceptive and layered. its a pitch that sounds way too good to be true, and designed to disarm. he says this whole interpreter thing is a small side job, but that can't be true if he's so booked up. and he does this really manipulative wordplay to setup his marks. when you take into account what's happened with his recent exposure. just telling everyone to be a bit cautious before you pick strangers to help you with ps - especially korean men who worked in ps before.

Thank you for sharing this information

hi there! no this isn't true especially for ryan who has no affiliation to any clinics but to be honest i'm not too sure about other translators
Ryan has the worse eq out of them all...

This is my detailed experience with him

Also some of the good things on the surface you guys have heard/experience are too superficial...There are people who hasnt come out publicly on their experiences so I always thought I was the only one but after I came out I realise there were more victims than me....its quite sad how most of them request to remain anonymous or else i wouldve ss other people's encounters as well
