Hi everyone!
Just wanted to drop a quick guide on this topic as many have contacted me on kkt with questions on how to hire one or who should they hire. Initially i really didnt think i would hire a translator, thinking i would just wing it or perhaps use translation apps on my phone but when it came down to it, i honestly think it was the best decision i made after my choice of doctor hahaha

Translators do WAY more than just translating, from guiding you to bargaining and even booking appointments for you. Also if you get a discount with their help, the service would have just paid for itself!

Who to hire?
The Holy Trinity (from what I gathered on this forum)
Ryan (kkt: ryankim13)
Jude (kkt: spqq)
Brian (kkt: gwbrian)

How to hire?
You can reach out to them on kakaotalk or for those who have trouble adding/messaging Ryan or the other translators like I did due to KakaoTalk's user protection measures, you can book Ryan through his website: gangnambuddy.com

Thanks as always for reading!

All of these interpreters listed are scammers, grifters and con-men. PERIOD. Please stop enabling them, they are on these forums manipulating reviews, and then grooming people to promote them.

It's truly startling to see this archaic fraud making a comeback.

PLEASE DISPEL THE ILLUSION BORN FROM THE KPOP TOURISM ADS THAT PORTRAYS KOREANS WORKING IN PS AS PURE, BENIGN BEINGS. THEY'RE PREDATORS. I visited one of these "translators" websites, and it's overflowing with glamour shots. What does that have to do with interpretation? Such conspicuous vanity clearly underscores their motives. They aim to allure girls and then mislead them with a show of confidence, a classic characteristic of a CONFIDENCE MAN = CONMAN. That is where the word conman comes from.

The moment someone establishes a business model that involves mediating surgical costs, they're functioning as an agency. But they are not an agency; at least an agency has some accountability. Why with all the past exposures would people support this intricate ruse with these tricksters? Do people believe they're outwitting the clinics? They're not mere translators; the moment they begin manipulating your prices, they're outrightly deceiving both patients and clinics. You could be hit with undisclosed fees and relinquishing consumer rights by working with these people, and trapping yourself in a gaslit reality.

Then there are individuals who consistently defend these swindlers because they directed them to a place to purchase pumpkin juice, and found them "trustworthy and genuine." Your innocence is praiseworthy but also incredibly naive, and it only exacerbates the issue.

just like in other businesses, some people in ps may not be honest. it's important to be careful - do your own research and be sure before you decide, especially concerning surgery. however i dont think it's fair to label all of them as con-men though as numerous people have had great experiences with translators but to each their own, thank you for sharing!
