I hear what you’re saying. One time I ordered shoes and it stated in certain styles that 37.5=8. When they came, they didn’t fit. They were too tight. So I re-ordered in a size 38; however it stated it was an 8-1/2. Go figure.I have Gucci shoes in three different (half) sizes. Just cannot figure out their sizing system,,.

Each style will fit differently on each person. And depending on your feet. The best bet is to try on the style you are interested in, in store if you can, then you order from your source if it's a better price. Sizing can range from just a half size smaller than you regularly wear with non Gucci shoe size to two full sizes down (or more). The European size is the best for determining what size is your size in Gucci size. For example... I wear a size 10 (size 42) in non Gucci shoes, but in the Gucci Marmont loafers, I wear a size 8 (which equals a size 42 EU). In the Gucci Horsebit 1953, I wear a size Gucci 8.5. I found one of my older 1953's in suede, and they were a size 9. Gucci Slippers with fur, I am size Gucci 7.5. And in Sandals... I'm all over the place ! Go figure.I'm usually a 39 in most non Gucci shoes. In the Ace sneakers I am a 38.5. In the sandals I am a 39.5. I find the sizing consistent between the particular shoe (as in I have 4 pairs of Ace sneakers and I'm always a 38.5), but between the different styles the sizing is inconsistent.
