The rest of my collection consists of a range of colors, but I don't have a small casual/classy crossbody bag. I do have a black Chanel mini and thought the Black Gucci Soho Disco might be redundant, but I rarely use my Chanel mini. Gucci soho would be for everyday use.
I agree the red and black are both must-haves, they're both too beautiful!! I might get the black one and just get a red in the future.
Red is so gorgeous. Gucci has done an excellent job capturing a vibrant and deep red color!

I would definitely go with black first then! I already had a black 3.1 Philip Lim Mini Pashli that I use as my go-to crossbody, so I couldn't justify doing the Disco in black too.

Gucci soho disco enjoying a sunset in Mexico.I'm new to Gucci and picked up the pink disco in the sale. Yay me!!!
To my knowledge the black does not usually go on sale. I think your best bet would be to see if any of the online stockists allow you to get a discount when they have regular promotions. I noticed matchesfashion is getting the soho disco and a couple other big name stores. You just want to make sure Gucci is not excluded from the promo. That's all I got! Anyone else have good tips?

From what I read from this thread, classic colors never go on sale so there's not much hope in getting black at reduced price unless it's a preloved piece. Get it before the price increase! [emoji41]

Thank you. A shipping label was created today. I guess it'll go out tomorrow. I had it shipped to my school. I'm hoping it arrives Tuesday. I'll probably track it all weekend, lol! I am sure I'll love the color. I don't mind color. I'm taking some free math classes this summer. The university is walking distance from my house. The disco will be perfect for class.
A thought occurred to me...there will be lots of pink and orange discos out and about this summer! When I was younger that probably would have pinched a nerve. But at this point in my life it'll be a conversation starter...something like, "Hey bag twin!! Don't you just love it???"
Definitely, how'd you know (JK). Believe it or not, I've done the same thing before! I bought the Celine Phantom years ago. It was bright yellow. I loved that bag. But was nervous about the color getting dirty/stained. I never used it. Had it for months. Probably longer than I've had the dusty rose disco. So I put my name back on the waiting list for the indigo color (similar to a royal blue color) and exchanged the yellow. Colors usually don't scare me. But the yellow did.
Don't give up. It may come around again. Check Nordstrom (if you haven't already). It didn't go on sale there but they will price match.
I got the fuchsia in the sale price matched by Nordstrom. I will post a pic once it arrives. I've wanted a disco forever. I'm so excited [emoji175]
Thank you for the advice. I will check out that site and any others recommended. Maybe I can at least get a little cash back with ****** or something. It's so sad, but I hate paying full price for anything, haha. That black sure is a beauty though....save save save, haha
