They had gotten a a new style delivered yesterday, a pink & red Soho Disco, without the tassle. I hadn't seen it on the website. It was really nice, but the red wasn't as beautiful as the regular red, plus my daughter voted against it, so it's the red one for me. Very happy.

I've the same bag in same color and I agree it's gorgeous! The SA showed me a new version disco in dual color tone but the leather felt much stiffer and doesn't look as luxe so it's a nay for me. Enjoy your sexy red bag! :)

I was deciding between black and red, went with the latter color in the end as I feel it stands out more. And being of smaller size, a more striking color will look more appealing. That said, I think I'll get the black one day because it's indeed chic and this disco design deserves owning more than in one color. [emoji38]

My 1st disco bag is black. I think it goes well w/ everything without standing out all the time. It is a great office purse, night life purse, every day purse and vacation purse. I like to not always draw too much attention to my bag but still look sleek and we'll put together.

Hi everyone! I am looking into getting a disco bag. I don't own any Gucci bags, so after some research, I am pleasantly surprised by the price:)) I wear mostly Chanel's, mostly in black as well. I actually want to get the disco bag for farmers market, as I live near one and I want to start going there everyday for fresh groceries, so I will be carrying my phone, wallet (long zip wallet, really don't want to change wallets for the disco bag, so it needs to fit), lipbalm, sanitizing wipes and keys. Do you think it is a good choice? And colour suggestion? Any tips would help. Thanks.

I couldn't believe it. Next came red, which I love and it is an amazing shade of deep red, then came rose beige…such a gorgeous neutral and today arrived my fourth disco.…in black. I can't say enough about this bag; it is lightweight, not too small nor too big, it transitions from day to night, it is great for traveling, and lastly it is extremely durable and doesn't need to be babied. It is a good size to be able to carry your belongings to the farmers market. Color will depend on your preferences. I only have one disco bag and it's black in patent leather. I love it's durability and like that black goes with everything. But some ladies prefer brighter colors. (Or have more than 1 in different colors. I am waiting for the next sale to see if I will add another color to my collection).

Hello ladies! I need your advice. I just got a new Disco as a gift from the hubby. (Yay!) Being extremely petite, the strap was too long for me even on the first hole. So I went to my local Gucci store and requested to have 2 additional holes punched in. When the SA brought my bag back, I noticed that the holes he punched were smaller than the original ones. He said that they didn't have a tool that had the exact size as the original. I thought, okay, no big deal, no one will notice anyway. That was a week ago. I was planning on using my new bag for the first time on Mother's Day, so I brought my bag out a while ago to check which outfit would go with it. Out of curiosity, I unbuckled the strap and examined the holes again. To my horror, I saw that one of the extra holes had tiny tears on the leather!!! What can I do? If I go back to the store to complain, what can I reasonably expect them to do? Also, if it's of any consequence, the bag was purchased from another country.

take your receipt and your bag and go right back to the store and demand that the guy explain what he used to punch a hole in your bag. if he is just an SA and not a repair person he shouldn't have even touched the bag and should have given it to a repair dept. that is why leather-workers work on bags and not SA's. they will hopefully come good for it... that's not ok and will obviously get much worse each time you put the buckle in the hole. don't wait too long b/c they might think you caused the tear.

Thanks for your reply. Will disco bags go on sale? Now I think maybe I should hold off for a bit. The more pictures I googled, the more I like it. But I am just worried that I might be having a tunnel vision with this bag, as I always do that when I become obsessed with a bag or something. lol!

Has anyone ever purchased a bag via the gucci website, hopefully in Canada? Are the bags being shipped from the local store or some sort of warehouse? My local store does not have a specific colour I wanted to check out, and they would not check the inventories of other local stores, so I do not know if I should just start calling and see which ones might have it, or maybe none of them have it or the online bag is just being shipped from elsewhere. Also, with Canada, we have such high customs/duties with orders from overseas, so also wanted to avoid that if possible. thanks ladies!
