Do we think the Gucci Dionysus has the ability to be a classic purse? I’m considering purchasing the monogram w/ taupe. But is it outdated??

I’m so glad you posted this question. I’ve been struggling with whether or not to purchase this bag, considering it was released several years ago. Also, I notice this style is still available in stores, and vloggers continuously post reviews on YouTube on this bag. Which leads me to believe it’s a classic, and here to stay.

I'm looking for my next luxury bag. Dionysus is on my list. I don't buy a lot of bags, so i want them to last. I worry about them looking outdated. My neverful and chanel classic flap have stood the test of time. Glad someone asked this question.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the Dionysus. It’s such a sensible purse. I’m honestly mad I didn’t get it sooner. My one piece of advice would be to avoid the printed designs (bloom etc.) if you’re looking for longevity.

I have the canvas taupe one too. I think it’s such a classic and still one of my favorites after years. It holds up really well and the Small size is really spacious, great for day and night too!

Dionysus is definitely not out of style -you will not regret it. I only bought my first Dionysus a couple of months ago, I went for the leather one, size Small. It fits loads and has become my everyday bag since- I absolutely love it. It can be dressed down and up - I wear it with nice clothes but also with casual and trainers
I was originally going for the canvas one, but changed my mind as I thought it will be a bag that I'll love for years to come and when I'm older I'd probably appreciate the leather more and I find it easier to fit with my wardrobe.
But don't let others to influence your decision- take the one that you personally like the most and can see yourself wearing often

I just got the mini yesterday. I personally don’t care if people consider this bag out of style or not. I think it’s beautiful and have for years so I went for it finally.

You'll love it! It's much roomier than I thought.
The only problem is that it's such a beautiful design that once you get one -you want more just received the WOC 2 days ago and so in love.
