I didn't realise that the solid colours and Ghost graffiti camera bags don't have the heart, so thanks for pointing it out.
And I agree, the 'hidden' heart is special.

Nvm sorry. I couldn't find this bag on Gucci but see net a porter has. Seems like hard to find though

I was in the boutique a couple of days ago to try on both of these bags, and came away much preferring the Disco (it's next on my wish list!). It seems to me that the Marmont photographs better than the Disco, but is somehow a little lacklustre for me irl? The disco is plainer but that makes it more versatile.

More importantly, I think the Marmont's shape is slightly odd on me, it's width and height somehow felt a little awkward overall, like it's slight disproportionate. I'm 5"3 and about 120lbs) We're the same height and both bags can work as both a shoulder and cross-body.

But the Disco is more pliable and also lighter than the Marmont because it doesn't have the chain. The Marmont is a little dressier than the Disco though, so if you like your purse to be the 'centerpiece' of your outfit, I would go with the Marmont. Otherwise, i think the Disco wins in terms of functionality and ease of use.

I'm starting to agree re: odd shape of the marmont shoulder bag. I showed a pic to my husband (mainly to soften the blow as I'm planning on making a purchase in NY, ha!) and he commented that it looked "like a cosmetic bag with a strap." I blew it off at first, but then I started to realize that he has a point. It's sort of odd that the bottom is wider than the top, almost giving it a "cosmetic bag" look. It's squawty. I also anticipate it looking bulky on me when I finally try one on in NY next week. I don't understand why they didn't just use the same rectangular structure they used for the mini size (which does not get wider/longer across the bottom). If it isn't love in the store, I may just cave and finally get a Dionysus.

I have 2 questions if anyone can answer. I stopped in the Gucci store today to see the Marmont Camera bag. The handbag lining in the Gucci store is beige or camel color. I saw the handbag on the Neiman Marcus website and the lining is red in the picture. Is that typical that the lining would be different at Neiman Marcus or another store other than Gucci? My other question is in regards to ordering at Neiman Marcus via a rebate site link like ******. Is Gucci an eligible item to get the offered rebate?

Yes, you definitely get the rebate from Neiman's when purchasing through ******. Sorry I'm not able to answer about the lining!

Does anyone know if the shoulder bag {$1200 one} (slightly larger than the mini/camera bag) comes in the black and white chevron?

No pics, but I tried it on at Gucci with my things. It fit a small wallet (a cles type would be best) keys, iPhone 7plus, a few spare makeup items and a comb and sunglasses without case. OR a tiny makeup bag with no sunglasses. I found it less bulky worn crossbody than the Soho Disco and I will be purchasing this bag! Loved it.

thanks for the input. It seems that the mini bag can fit more than my baby saint laurent :) my iphone 6 plus is using an ottebox which doubles its size so i could only put a phone and and a mini wallet.
