Just noticed there's no tassels with the new one, not a deal breaker I can definitely add my own!

They've had no tassels for 2 years. I agree you can add your own or anything you like. I must say I like the option.

Thanks for the explanation. Even though I think the new version is lovely, I think the older model is cleaner and simpler. For some reason that is the one that is calling out to me.

I remember now, the one I had comes with a double strap which is also metal/braided, and I did wish for a simple leather strap.

I have the old style. I LOVE it! It's so elegant and cute. I wore it to a wedding recently. I definitely prefer the older style.
