My 14" MBP fits, just, but because of the flat construction there's not much room left for anything else. I'm guessing you would be a bit better off with the 13".
Wondering how my fellow Aphrodite owners are feeling about their bags since it's been discontinued?
I have 3 - Medium in red and tan (not sure if that's what they called the color but it's the carmel one) and the itty one in black. (Had small green with zipper/chain but rehomed it b/c the zipper was annoying.)
I'm still carrying these and very happy with the versatility of the medium. The tiny one is for specific (very minimal!) outings because there aren't any pockets.
I don't love the Jackie (a bit too structured for my style and I don't care for the hardware) and I do love chèvre leather, which doesn't seem to be offered on any other bags. I'm a bit sad to have "stalled" on my Gucci bag journey.

I love that it's capra (chevre/goat). There are very few bags made with any interesting leathers these days overall. Since it's red, it had plenty of wear during the holiday, and because it's bright, it'll get plenty of wear in the Summer.
I can promise, unless you go to a party held at Gucci, no one knows what's current and what's not. It's a Bouvier with a different closure. I have a light-olive Bouvier which is basically a Jackie 1961 without the gusset (Bouvier was created in 1958). I think the piston hardware + gusset make the bag look a bit more staid and formal. I much prefer the Bouvier and the Aphrodite. There are very few bags that are available at Gucci atm that I don't have already. I really enjoying bags people have forgotten about.
I LOVE mine. I also have it in red and in white as well. The white is the most beautiful creme anglaise color. I regret not getting it in the tan color.
I also have a Jackie (medium) that I love (see my avatar), but they are so different. My Jackie is more substantial and I love breaking it out in the fall. The Aphrodites are quiet, lovely bags for me.
