what do you guys think about the Gucci ace sneakers?
I am generally 34-34.5 in all designer heels including Louboutin. I went for 34 in Gucci Ace and they fit great when I tried them on walking around the house. They felt maybe 1/2 size roomy, but when I tightened the laces they felt good, my feet didn’t slip out. I will share some mod shots when I get a chance later.I really want to get a pair of Gucci Ace sneakers but I haven't seen that many pictures of people wearing them (so I can get an idea of how versatile they are). Do any of you have pictures of you modeling your Aces?
For those of you who did buy - what size did you go for and how much did it vary from your usual size? I am usually a US 6.5 but I wear a 37.5 in Louboutins. I keep hearing go down 1/2 - 1 full size. Does that mean I should go to a 6? 36.5? All the size charts are so different my head is spinning!
I appreciate any help and SO look forward to seeing your pictures!
I’ve had mine for 2 years. Haven’t had any issues with wear n tear. However, I only wear these types of shoes in the spring and fall so mine don’t get consecutive use. I also have a pair of 1977 sneakers I wear too. Both look great. Are these still worth it? Anyone still wear theirs after a few years? How’s the wear and tear?
Are they comfy for walking all day around the city? Good to hear that you’re still wearing them! I guess Golden Goose would be a nice alternative but I’m not sure if I like the worn look.I’ve had mine for 2 years. Haven’t had any issues with wear n tear. I would say they’re comfortable for designer sneakers. If you’re doing a typical amount of walking or running errands they're good, but all day walking probably not. I have Prada, LV, and Gucci sneakers and wouldn’t wear any of them all day if a lot of walking was involved. I don’t have golden goose, but have looked at buying them before. They do have some without the worn look. I know there used to be some on ssense that had a clean look, and were neutral colors. Are they comfy for walking all day around the city? I've had my Gucci Aces for about 18 months and agree with everything Moxisox said. I have wide feet and have also found them extremely comfortable for a designer sneaker. FWIW I've tried Golden Goose, am between sizes, and couldn't get either to work (stupid wide feet, lol!). I've had zero regrets about my Aces and they compliment my wardrobe nicely! They're also a go-to airplane travel day shoe that has worked very well for me.I would say they’re comfortable for designer sneakers.
