Good deal for tennis bracelet?

I had a 2 ctw diamond bracelet from Kay Jewelers that had in the "I" range of clarity and every time I looked at it all I saw were the inclusions, even though there weren't any carbon spots, the inclusions were still very noticeable. Eventually I sold it (for a big loss) and I would never buy any jewelry again that had "I" diamonds in it. Even if the color is good, it won't change the inclusions.

Costco diamonds sparkle like mad. They're actually quite good, their diamonds are all guaranteed to be VS2 or better, and I in color or better. The nice thing about buying from Costco is the return policy. If I were to buy something like that bracelet, I would take it to be appraised by a gemologist and get his advice. If you're not happy with it, you can take it back.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to call my SA at Bloomies to see if they have any tennis bracelets with a better clarity.
Why you are stuck on buying from Bloomies?

Just got these specs on one from a local mom and pop store - 3 tcw, H color, SI clarity - price $3200. How is that ame, Swanky, and anyone else who wants to chime in?
Sounds reasonable though perhaps a tiny bit high. Have you seen the bracelet? How do the stones look? If it keeps the money local and it looks great to your eyes I would go that direction. But you seem adamantly against online purchases and I am curious why.

I'm not an online shopper - just my nature. I need to see and feel the item in person, esp. a high-ticket item. I'm 100% NOT getting it from Bloomies! I just walked through on way to build-a-bear with my daughter and got side-tracked. I am not getting any "I" clarity bracelet. I found a couple stores about 45 min. away that I may visit tomorrow. I will report back!

Feel like $1000 per ct (18kt gold or platinum) is normally a good deal, at the auction houses. This is usually the cut off point where jewelry resellers will stop bidding.
But its only a good deal if you like it.

^^^ my 6.5 carat tennis bracelet was also around that price, from I.D. jewelry in the jewelry district. (47th st NYC) Mine is F-G S1-S2. I bought it several years ago though and diamond prices have gone up quite a bit.

Help me! I don't want to do anything impulsive! Several years ago I purchased my 1st rolex. It is a xx. Since then, I also added to my collection: ladies 2-tone diamond marker jubilee and fluted rolex, an Air King rolex, ss medium automatic Cartier ballon bleu, black 33mm J12 w/diamond markers, 38mm white plain J12, Cartier roadster, and a few other less expensive ones! Would I take a loss on the rolex since there have been several price increases since I purchased it? It is in better than mint condition and I have all the boxes, paperwork, etc. I do not want to take a loss! Opinions please!
