I am 5" and 28 is PERFECT for me and i think will be perfect on u too! if i were u and wanted a bigger bag i would go for 32 MAX regardless if u have a toddler or not (i have a 4 yr old)..i say do not settle and go for what u want since 1)u can carry a diaper bag/seperate bag for ur toddler 2)kids will eventually grow up :) but ur kelly will remain forever and i dont think u will want a big kelly in the future if u r yearning for a 28..

Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks MakeupAddict for sharing your thoughts. You are so right! My DS can't be little forever:)

I looked at my purse closet this morning and realized that all my big bags have not been used for so long (including my B35:). I will patiently wait for my HG K28 then:)

Hi Kelly lovers,

Your opinion is much appreciated.

I am thinking about getting a preowned Hermès Gulliver black Kelly 35 with GHW and use it as an every day bag. I have a toddler so I usually carry bigger bags that have shoulder straps. The problem is the bag is very slouchy even it is still in a good condition. I worry that the bag may look too big on my 5"3 body frame.

My heart is actually yearning for a brand new K28 but well aware that the size is not practical for a new mom.

My dilemma is whether I should get a bag at reasonable price and use it daily or waiting for a HG K28.

Adding my two cents here. I think a 35cm is too big for your frame and will be too heavy once you put all your stuff inside and too un-wieldy when toting around a small child. I think it's better to find a 32cm Kelly in decent condition in the resale market for a good price for an everyday bag instead. I'm 5'3" and petite and a 35cm looks GIGANTIC on me....the largest I would ever go is a 32cm.

I totally agree! I have a K32 and I'm 5'6". I actually think a 35cm would be too big on me as well. Good luck!

Agree when toting around a little one, carrying a 35 may get heavy when loaded. I have Kellys that range from a 28cm - 35cm. I'm 5'6" and I love the look and use of all three sizes. Truly trying on and putting stuff in it is the best test. Everyone is different as far as what is heavy. I do own a 35 b and that can get heavy, especially when toting around your kids.

Thanks, S'mom. I will keep my eye out and hope to find one that does not cost an arm and leg:). Resellers mark up at crazy prices nowadays:). Sometimes I feel like it is cheaper to buy a brand new one:)

Thanks, nadineluv. My DS loves his books so I usually put a few books in my bag for him which makes my bag even heavier:).

Yea, I need to try all three sizes on to see which size fits me best.

Just added a "new" Kelly in my little K family.

She is 1962 vintage in box calf in the middle. She has been restored by Hermes craftsman and I'm delighted to have her joining the team.
