Ok. I managed to set off the metal detector at Heathrow Terminal 2 last weekend with my Neo (the same pair went through T5 and other airports in America and other countries with no problem). Do you know any pair of H boots that are truly airport friendly?

After it beeped, they did. T5 or the other places never asked. I have Global Entry and never have to on my side of the pond.
I just want a pair of nicer boots that won't beep.
I fly through Heathrow very often esp while I was living in London. In winter I don’t wear any boots, to reduce beeping and removal inconvenience. I guess any no-hardware boots would be best for you?

Most of the better ones have metal in the sole or heel. I picked the Neo because it has neither. Oh well, perhaps I should just wear regular shoes and pack the boots. There goes my travel light plan.

Hello all, I recently received a pair of pre-loved Jumping Boot from TRR and had a question about the metal in the Kelly clasp which arrived somewhat warped/bent on both straps. Although it still closes, its definitely not how it arrived in store, as they are both a different shape and it seems like it would be easy to careful bend it straight again but I wanted the opinion of someone else with the same style of boot before I did anything to them in case I should have them sent back altogether, as this was not stated in the condition of the item and it makes me wonder a bit. I'm not asking for authentication so I don't think it would hurt to show the old listing still.

Unlike bag hardware, the jumping boot clasps are intentionally curved to follow the curved line of the shaft.
In other words, the boot hardware isn’t designed to be straight.
