Steady on there - I was referring to the fairy tale Miss Bluewin! :D

Ooh - what do the story boots look like?

My favourite fairy tale - but in my book puss wore RED over-knee boots. Guess what I wanted (drove everyone mad) for my birthday that year?!!!

Now there's a picture I'd love to see! LOL

I got the Land Boots this year and they are amazing, plain zip up the side, discreet yet H, and they are insanely comfortable. A little riding, a little biker. They cost under 1k too

Yes, Roo, the story boots are smooth as butter. They are made from chevre:-) I might start using them when Spring comes. However, that said, I do need another pair (preferably a pair of brown Kelly boots). I just know I would use them! (I am ashamed to admit that I haven´t used the Story ones yet)

lulu, the Land boots are lovely!

OMG I totally LOVE those boots.

I hope it's a regular style, maybe I can do H boots next year.

lovely64 Brown kellys and beige storys - now that's a closet I'd really like the look of!

lulu - those land boots look seriously comfortable, and as if they would last a lifetime they are so well made. They are gorgeous without feeling that you have to be too precious with them and liking the price point too!

I think I'm about ready to make the leap into my first pair of Hermes boots. I have seen and love the kelly boots, but before making a final decision, I really like to see the other styles they have available.

Please can all of you boot owning ladies show the styles you have, and any practical info regarding sizing and comfort and colours available.

Many thanks in advance.

I have the same brown kelly jumping boots as the stunning lady in the above pic and sadly that's the only thing we have common  oh no sorry I tell a lie.......................... I do have KC edp too!
Seriously, the boots are gorgeous both to look at and the smell is divine!
Does anyone else notice this or have I really lost it?
To be honest I didn't find them comfortable at first, I felt and looked as if I was walking in a pair of wellies made out of cement! However, after a while they were fine and I love them now. Like the Kelly and the Birkin they are such a classic and go with almost anything.

Listen esmeh - from what I've heard, unless you are whippet thin, you don't stand a chance in these boots - based on that piece of information, I'm guessing you've got quite a bit in common with that lady! (Same goes for you robee!)

Thanks for this esmeh for this, which what I really needed - best to know up front so I know that it will be more than just a visual love thing in the long term. :hugs:

We did indeed see Bluewin's Triomphe boots in Chicago on Saturday, and they were droolworthy. A little less jumping, a little more dominatrix, but in the very best possible way :amuse: Thank god they would never fit me because they were very tempting indeed.

OMG, this is the best -- mouthwatering - -description. I am so sad now that my calves will not go into them with any amount of stretching. :(

but it is better for the H fund lol.

When I was in H trying on the kelly boots at the chicago meet, I gave up bc I didn't fit into them. Ever heard of muffin tops? Hee! That's what I had! The ladies with me said I needed to take of my jeans to try them on. Ha! Doesn't that sound hilarious! Well, I had a sweater dress over my gray jeans. So I took them off and tried the boots on. They fit like a glove after that! Well, a little very tight on the left and little snug on the right. They do stretch!

I also tried on Bluewin's boots, "bottes triomphe", too bad they were a size too big for me or I'd have some sucking up to do.

I'm now a converted H shoes girl!

880 - the ones bluewin has, is very forgiving for those with bigger calves, do try it. I saw a lady on the big side trying it, she managed to get them on and zip it up nicely.

Roo - trust me, i m no way near that model thinness, i have hidden fats everywhr hahha

Urgh I wish I had those model's legs. GL I love the kelly boots. Unfortunately I don't want to go try them on cos I am scared they won't fit and can't spend that much at the moment. :s
