He has multiple super bowls and he's getting up there for a quarterback. Enough people already hate his smug whiny behind. He should just quit now before everyone hates him. He could take notorious hot head cheater Belichick with him. What's so unfortunate about the whole thing is that he's a good player and Belichick is a good coach. Belichick didn't have to spend his entire career cheating for a few extra wins at the cost of losing respect when he could have won a lot honestly and been remembered as one of the great coaches people really revere like Chuck Knoll and Vince Lombardi. He's done irreparable damage to his legacy. A lot of people are still mad they didn't take their AFC championship titles away last time they got caught cheating.

A fine? He deserves a suspension for half the season.
If that happens, he can retire and come back like Brett Favre did.

:laugh::laugh:

Suspended for deflated ball which he didn't even deflate? whether he ordered it or not isn't conclusive. The report says Brady was probably aware, punishing someone for probably knowing something isn't just. it should be factual and I think i read months ago that a fine is the penalty for not having regualted balls. This whole thing is nonsensical, you'd think someone was intentially injured on the playing field.

It's not inconclusive, the reason they use probable in the report, is not because the findings are inconclusive it's because the NFL has specific rules on how they word offenses in order to assign a proper consequence. The NFL network addressed this wording. They went on to say that without a doubt this is a guilty finding. Regardless of how Patriot fans will try to spin this in Brady's favor, he is a cheater (2x's) and will always be a "convicted" cheater. This isn't hear say or speculation, this is an investigated finding. And btw the report also goes on to say that Brady did not cooperate with the investigation. Know the facts before you go and defend him. Belichick may have not played a part this time, but it doesn't matter he is also a "convicted" cheater. You can't defend them, they will go down in history as known cheaters.

The New England Patriots could be losing Tom Brady, with rumors that the NFL will punish the quarterback for his role in deflating game balls.

On Wednesday, the league’s extensive report into the Deflategate scandal was released, showing that quarterback Tom Brady was aware of the efforts to purposely deflate balls, but coach Bill Belichick was apparently not.
During the AFC Championship Game this year, officials found that a number of balls from the Patriots’ sidelines were inflated to well below NFL standards, leading to allegations that New England may have purposely deflated balls to create an unfair — and illegal — advantage.
Now, text messages between the team’s equipment assistant, John Jastremski, and the officials locker room attendant, Jim McNally, supposedly show evidence of these plans.
In the messages, the two appear to reference compensation that McNally receives from quarterback Tom Brady, and McNally refers to himself as “the deflator.”

HMMM, whether he deflated them or not you say. That's not how the law works. I pay you to kill my husband, we both get murder charges.

Once again rumors and speculations of a suspension, the report said probable so of course the media will run with he was aware even with no proof. Not that it can't happen but I'd be surprised if he was suspended a game for this.

Let's not compare murder to deflated balls for a game even for the sake of comparison, that's tacky.

You must be a Patriots fan!
I didn't know he was considered a candidate for the US Senate. With this recent scandal, he would be perfect!!!!

Regardless of his punishment, Brady's legacy is now tied to the scandal. But the main effect of that, Ganis said, could be to solidify opinions that are already largely entrenched: Opposing fans will continue to doubt him, and fans in New England, where he was once seen as a candidate for the U.S. Senate, will rally to his defense.

Brady a candidate for Senate?:roflmfao: I missed that!

Tacky? Just explaining how the law works.
I can use whatever comparison you want.

Speaking of law, then you are aware that there are different degrees of murder. People are considered innocent until proven gulity and while there can be circumstantial evidence if there is any doubt a person can be found not gulity.

According to NFL rules, if a team tinkers or uses a non-approved football, the minimum penalty is a $25,000 fine for the team and any club personnel found to have been involved. So I expect a fine but if they want to make an example out of him then maybe they do more but a suspension for Brady when he has never violated a rule before is too much in my opinion.

I hope they suspend Brady for cheating and I for one, hope this taints him for at least a few years, enough so that it delays a Hall of Fame induction. I hate to see young kids looking up to those that cheat. Sends such a bad message.

Doesn't matter what you think is "tacky" or not...Still a cheater and still a cheater tomorrow and still a cheater next week and still a cheater next year. The findings show he cheated, regardless of what his consequence is. And any way you slice it, there's a price to pay. What's the saying...What's integrity? What you do when no ones's looking. He obviously doesn't have any.
