I'm not condoning cheating, but the marriage seemed to go south after he retired to supposedly spend more time with the family and then decided he couldn't stay away from the NFL. She may have checked out emotionally at that point and started looking elsewhere.There were rumors of her cheating long before the divorce, so in her silly head, it's probably not fast

no offense to anyone here but I couldn't care less...she has plenty of money for nannies so I guess if she wants another child, that's up to her....I doubt the relationship with the man will last
If I recall correctly she already had this guy lined up before she officially gave Brady the heave ho. Not sure there would have been a divorce, or at least not when it happened, if she hadn’t had Mr. Instructor right there.
But like I said, she may have already checked out before she decided to move on. It is my understanding that she was after him to retire for several years. He finally agreed but then went back on his word and that may have been the last straw for her. I once read that women do the bulk of the emotional work to keep a relationship going, and when the woman checks out emotionally the relationship is over.
Yes. At least my female friends who have divorced. They all claimed that they have thought a very, very time before they asked for a divorce. And then the men are shocked.
For us, women, it takes us a long time to process mentally, but once we reach that stage, we just pull the trigger and so for outsiders it seems like a whimsy idea. But it really isn't. It's very well thought out.
I'm just happy she's able to have a baby when she wants a baby. Not everybody is that lucky! I wish her the best.

He never announced his retirement the first time around. They were on a family vacation and away from phones and social media.
ESPN started a headline about Tom Brady retiring BEFORE Tom Brady knew what he wanted to do.
Brady would never let ESPN or anyone announce HIS retirement. It’s very unlike him.
But as media is today, everyone ran with it, even though it WASNT true.
Then he comes back and is forced to make a decision quickly, because everyone is waiting.
Even though he was rushed into the decision, I’m sure he came out of retirement because of Gisele’s cheating. Why should he stay home when she’s in love with someone else?
When he actually retired, he announced it himself, as expected.
Oh, I didn't know it was the news/ social media making the decision to retire or not to retire. I thought it was completely his own idea. This sucks.
But I think the straw that broke the camel's back is Gisele cheating. Maybe Tom wasn't a saint in the marriage, but MEN in general, cannot tolerate female infidelity. They just can't.

. Tom Sr. (his Dad) had to clarify that a decision was not made while Tom Brady and family were away.His dad doesn’t ever intervene, so that spoke volumes to me.

My thoughts also. She might have wanted another baby and he is her partner at the moment. It’s not like she would be smart to wait 6 months and see where the relationship is at, by then it may be too late. I am almost her age, and the first thing I thought when I heard she was pregnant was a little hope that maybe I could have another baby by some miracle. 100% baby-based motivation, 0% man/husband-based!
I didn’t realize she cheated. Although, if I think back, the timing of her vacation with new man coupled with the announcement of her marriage was sus.
Her PR people were excellent and prepared to make her appear to be the aggrieved party. The narrative was that she was mad about him changing his mind and playing one more season after he said he wouldn’t. The reality: she found someone else.
She was doing pap walks with just the kids within a week of the announcement. Brady caught up and did his own but it took a few weeks. The vacation footage with her “friend” appeared not long after.
Since he had no qualm cheating with and getting with Gisele while his previous girlfriend was pregnant with his child, my sympathy for Tom is limited.
She got sick of him. It happens. It is sad for the children but they are hardly alone in their predicament.

but she is super rich and that gives her all the power in the relationship...how long before she gets bored with him?
Tom was never there. That dude is good with her kids and her, plus he is also Brazilian.
This goes a long way.
