Meh, after a while it is just a nothing burger, I cried in my twenties because I could not afford the fine nor the time off to do community service.
If you cry after being stopped in your forties for a simple traffic stop, you are lucky in life.
Or something else is going on imo

Many people who come from places where the police might present a different type of presence or who are children of those who lived through unrest, might have a very different, visceral, response to being pulled over…

I have a major emotional reaction to getting pulled over. When I see those lights my butt puckers and my heart starts racing like crazy and I start shaking.

I’ve never had a negative altercation with police to cause it, and probably has something to do with my childhood and upbringing (authority). I can afford the tickets and don’t feel shame for the infractions, but for some reason the interaction causes a weird physical reaction.

I’ve been pulled over twice in my life for speeding and both times the officer was kind but between seeing those lights and rolling down the window, I was a mess.

So maybe she just had a physical response to the situation itself?

dang Swanks! how many have you gotten??:wtf::lol::lol:

Plenty lol
My dad raced cars and my car is very fast, my foot is literally made of lead

I doubt she's been pulled over much as I assume she wasn't spending years behind the wheel like most of us moms.

Agree with LittleStar88, I understand that while I am not rattled by police pulling me over, lots of folks are.

Hehe. Ironically I have a really hard time going the speed limit and also have a fast car. Fortunately where I live we basically have zero police presence on the streets for traffic patrol so I don’t worry like I used to.

I wonder if it was her first ticket here. If so that may have also contributed to her reaction.

you and Swanks sound like my baby boy - he has a fast car too and whenever I have to go somewhere with him I say a prayer before we drive off, thank God when we get where we are going and thank Him again when we get home safely!

Wait, are we talking about the same Gisele who came to the US at age 8 and who made her way up the ranks in the cutthroat business of modeling until she became one of the richest women in the world? You all are talking about her like she’s some delicate little flower when in reality she is as tough as nails.

She is vain and narcissistic, however, and she’s used to getting her way. I don’t see her tears as fear at all. I see them as frustration, which I can’t feel sorry for because we’re all frustrated when we get a ticket. She isn’t accustomed to being treated like everyone else.

Okay, so TMZ has released the officer’s body cam footage. Apparently she got off with a warning so I guess her tears did work. The cop says he knows who she is so she played that card too. Her excuse is she was trying to get away from the paps. This is the same woman who called Backgrid several times during her divorce proceedings to show herself having fun with her kids and new boyfriend (who she claimed was “just a friend” at the time).

Ok, that’s not fair. But just shows how celebs get away with things regular people don’t.

oh you better believe she knows how to play the game! believe that! we all knew why she was dropping tears.

Maybe this is the ticket that puts her into points suspension in Florida? That would explain the tears.
That’s what I don’t understand about people who continually get speeding tickets. Eventually, you can get enough points to get your license suspended…or at the very least, insurance costs can go sky high! My husband’s ex gets (or got) a lot of speeding tickets…she thought time spent in the car was time wasted.
