Ive been married 15 years and when I first started dating my husband back in 1993 he took me with him to buy himself his first "brand" watch. He bought himself a Omega seamaster in stainless steel and navy blue.
At the time I though it was a huge watch but admired it greatly and thought it was a really classic looking divers watch.
For our first anniversary he bought me a longines ladies watch which i loved and wore every day.....untill 2009 when we walked past a jewellers shop in Bilbao, Spain and he caught sight of a Breitling Super Ocean Heritage. It was love at first sight and he made plans to acquire one asap...but in Australia they had yet to be released, so on the waiting list he went. When we picked his new baby up he was the first person in Australia to own one and he was as a happy as a pig in mud.
So lucky for me the Omega became my primary watch and I have worn it ever since..its a gorgeous watch and after an initial getting used to it period due to the size, I cant imagine my wrist without it.
Hubby is off to Germany this year to race the Nurburgring..(his combined Christmas and 50th gift from moi!) and he will also be picking up an IWC Big Pilots watch to add to his collection..........
......that Brietling is starting to look damn good.. :oP
do you think I could pull it off...
