I understand. I was actually this | | close to listing my large red patent ergo hobo on Bonanza the other day. I already had the large crimson Zoe and decided I didn't need two red patent shoulder bags with brass hardware. Then I put the ergo on my shoulder and knew there was no way it was going anywhere. It's a fantastic bag.

I also have one in vachetta leather, and I know that one is irreplaceable in my closet.

And now I'm second guessing my decision to get rid of the plum belted ergo tote...

Sorry the Ginger didn't work out for you. Generally, when I see bags with satchel handles AND a shoulder strap I consider them more for use and designed more as a handbag with the shoulder option secondary. Like when your hands are full and you just need the temporary use of the shoulder strap for convenience.
