a hook! eck! we have these hissing cockroaches at the zoo for educational purposes - kids love them! after having to take care of some, you just see how they are just trying to survive too. interesting creatures. haven't hissed at me yet. I make them little plates of lettuce, carrots, fruit, etc and they just gobble it up.

I agree with everyone about this being cruel. Cockroaches may not be cute to most people, but it's alive and feels pain. If someone was using a puppy as a fashion accessory, they would catch so much heat for it. Heck, they would probably be locked up for animal cruelty. Why should the cockroach be any different?

For the record, I think hissing cockroaches are neat. :supacool:

They had this on the last season of America's Next Top Model. The girls had to do a runway show with these hissing roaches with crystals on a chain. One of them totally freaked out, but Jade kissed hers. I don't know if this is the same designer, but it seems like it.

the person who designed this is obviously evil incarnate. how disgusting and cruel! I hate roaches but I would never ever ever want to do this to one. what has the world come to?

Ok so it just took me about 5 minutes to get over the fact that the roach is still alive... but then you can let is crawl all over you??? And it is a live roach- that they add crystals to, and ship it to you overnight?!?! This is so wrong on so many levels

I think there's a difference between making a cockroach out of swarovski crystals (although who'd want to wear THAT!?!?! . . . I'd want a dragonfly made out of diamonds and sapphires, but that's just me!) and covering a live cockroach with crystals and wearing him as a little brooch.

And even though cockroaches freak me out, even THEY don't deserve that.

Haha! Three or four of them, I believe! And a ferret, and a kitten, and before that a kinkachu monkey thing (that attacked her once during a lingerie show.)


That's right up there with people wearing an entire fox around their neck! (I love fur, but even THAT goes a bit too far!)
