Ditto! I have a YSL Roady that's all leather, no hardware - and it was really heavy to me once I put my stuff in (wallet, keys, phone, and a small cosmetic pouch) so I never used it...and now I have the Day RH and am gonna use that instead!
Wish I had read this post earlier :\ I ordered a Giant Rose Gold City bag from the Las Vegas boutique and it is so heavy. I've been checking out the RH bags and they were so light so I was expecting something similar. The odd thing is that I did check out a GH bag as well and didn't notice how heavy it was at the time.
I tried both Gh and Rh city, and immediately felt the difference. Well, the sales tried quite hard to convince me buying the GH as the colour i wanted is out of stock for RH. But in the end, i got part-time instead of city, just to stick to rh. i think it's more piratical.
Since i got a chanel coco, it is so heavy until i dont really 'enjoy' carry it.

Uhhh. Who are we trying to kid here? The GH is definitely heavier than RH. I don't need any numbers to tell me that, I can feel it immediately when carrying the same bag with the same stuff inside - but with different hardware.
GH is heavy, my new city weighs just as much as my Kooba bag with its solid brass hardware. That being said I will happily deal with the extra weight as I love how it looks.
