I am relatively new to Gucci. The brand hasn't really spoken to me until recently. I think I need to expand my designer brands. I do love my GG belt and now I'm looking at a Marmont bag. Probably a small matelasse shoulder bag with the flap. The mini top handle is more my style so I'm looking at that, too. But I think I want to mix it up. First question, I am looking at both Gucci site and another at red bags. One says "red" and the other says "hibiscus red". Are those the same color? It's hard to tell from the pictures. For anyone who has looked at both of those bags, I would love to hear why you prefer one over the other.

Big difference between the two. I have the small and it’s great for everyday. I would consider the medium more of a “work” bag.
Starting to look into a bag for summer. I stopped into Gucci and was drawn to the white Marmont mini. Loved them.
I have concerns/fears with regard to the leather and colour transfer and dirt/stains. I’m pretty mindful with my bags but I also don’t want to be fretting the whole time I am wearing the bag either. Does anyone have any experience with white leather from this line in particular?
The newer model with the blue edging is made with coated leather which the SA said would be less of an issue compared to the uncoated calf leather. My next question; if anyone owns anything in the coated leather in white, how has the coating held up? Any peeling or staining?

Love the color! I think with use they will look better over time - I'd say keep!
Thank you, it is a lovely colour and unusual but it kinda looks worn (i think it’s the velvet rather than actually worn). Got it from TKMax but tempted to return and instead buy a black marmont direct and be more classic!
