I purchased this 1inch (the men’s belt) back in 2017 online direct at GUCCI.COM and waited MONTHS for it since it was backordered. When it came it seemed fine and I’ve rarely used it (maybe a total of 5 times) but I recently took it out and it looks soooo tarnished with this odd SPOTTING. I’ve kept it stored in the dust bag and box in a dry and room temp place. I have never been through rain or water with it so I don’t know why it looks like this. I know it’s “aged or vintage” hardware, but this spotting is concerning. Is the men’s just more “aged”? Anyone else? Thoughts? Please, much appreciated ! I know I’m super late as I’m just now seeing this but that is tarnishing; very common on the hardware. I recently bought a brand new camera bag and it had tarnishing. When I went to exchange the ones in the store were the same.

But there’s a solution if you’re willing to do it lol. I used a cleaner called Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser with some Q-Tips and it worked wonders. I used the qtip with the solution and gently applied it and kind of rubbed it in. Then with a dry Q-Tip I wiped it off. And although very small traces got on the leather, they caused zero damage.

I love the Gucci marmont super mini! I have one in red and I have used it a lot. Surprisingly it can fit so much more than what one would expect from a tiny looking bag. It's so versatile too! Enjoy your new baby!

You will love it. I have it in white and had planned to sell it in exchange for a Chanel white mini or small classic. But I just can't let go of this cute little bag! I use it tons and have no immediate plans to let it go!
