Pauillac - You're so right !! :graucho::graucho: Everything that I'm scared of makes great bags..... lizard, croc, alligator....... Glad that humans found a better use of them in their after life. These creatures look cuter dead than when they are alive. It makes a lot of ladies very happy too.

I woke up one morning in SC, got my coffee and went to sit on the screened in porch. There was a gator right outside-- gators --not nice --would much rather see them as bags or shoes (or even on a plate) than eyeing me for lunch

Wow, a Pamella sighting - are you still wrapped in tin foil trying to get an internet connection, my dear?

Pugsy, I laughed out loud at your comment, "Pugsy doesn't do nature." Neither does Shelby. There's a fly in my office and it's pissing me off. The nearest outside door is about 150 yards away, so why it chose me to bother is a mystery.

Allaborsa, had I seen that gator, I would still be screaming and I am not kidding.

I would love the thick hair also lga and now with wigwam we've bought the product for the lashes...it's just that thin part

Allaborsa, honey, no Wigwam in the hair, okay?

And, if you really think you want thick hair, I'll be glad to send you some. I feel like Rocky and Rocketta are camped out on my head. Wrap a couple of fur collars around your head, and that's what thick hair feels like in the summer.

at times like this I miss london - practically no insects except very very briefly in the height of summer!!!

where I am now, HUGE bugs galore.

shudder........

I particularly hate lizards!!!

I ever tell you when we were there at the service apts, a lizard was in our room? Did I tell this story? :roflmfao:

Hi furbies - seems like it's been ages since I've been here. I've been at a conference and came home and made champagne truffles for a work going away party. Some of them came out kind of wonky. :shrugs: I'm not that great of a candy maker. I drank the leftover champagne since I couldn't let it go to waste. :D

pugsy - I've never seen a picture of you before. You are very lovely. I have the b/w jersey bolduc, too. It was my first jersey.

:blushing: Thank you. (it's the mirror ;) ) It was my first jersey too! SO ordered it at the Seattle store opening party :flowers: Those truffles look lovely, not the least bit wonky!

*shudder* umm, what? seriously? SO is trying to push for a SC move... This may convince me to say no thank you...

You are so my kind of peep :hugs: LOL, I'd be ticked too, go to someone else's office little fly!

I would have wrestled you to the ground to see it Lily! Or, I would have suggested you slip into the ladies room to touch-up your makeup, and sneaked a peek (then expertly re-wrapped it before you returned!)

It wouldn't have worked, hclub. I had it locked up in my desk drawer! :D Friday will come soon enough, and since she said she can't quite remember what it looks like, there will be an element of surprise, albeit a small one.

Hi everyone! Have some service for a few moments. Miss you all!
Hclub so glad you are feeling better today & eating chocolate covered gummy bears! Your wonderful spirit is an inspiration to us all!
Found a wonderful shop in blowing rock, nc, the French shop& a owned by a lady from Provence! Got a sign for my
House saying attention au chien! Beware of the dog! Also some wonderful lavender sachets! Here's your French word for the day. Gorgee means " to sip" !!
Pugs you look fabulous! Happy birthday to Vicky & allaborsa have a wonderful birthday!

Great to hear that you found civilization . . . and shops!:yahoo: My sister has that same sign in Italian (Attenti il cane!), and I think she has one for the cat too.

And, mmmmmm, lavender sachets - how nice.

But, honey, we need a new word. You know darn well that Furbies don't sip! Gulp maybe but never sip.

Well. My neighbor gave me some organic kale she grew in her p-patch and I found a lil green rolly polly inch worm on my sink and I had to wash it down the drain but Pugsy doesn't do nature so I had to pour another glass of wine since it was such a traumatic experience... :sweatdrop:

:p

But just think if Pugsy had EATEN said lil green rolly polly inch worm with her kale.

:smooch:you are so sweet pugsy!!! apologies to SO though - just what he needs to get woken up by H emergencies!!!

I've been trying to order it and get it sent to our holiday home in lake placid (to the caretaker) and the site keeps rejecting my card but when I called the bank, I was told 2 approvals for the same amount has been sent through.

I'm thoroughly confused now.......

Yikes, did you buy two by hitting the order button twice? Mojo, call their 800 number and make them help you and straighten it all out.

However, if they do ship two, I'll volunteer to take the duplicate off your hands. I've never had a jersey before . . . :graucho:

pug I really like SC but I have to admit I go to an island and visit in October. There are numerous gators running around...I'm ok with that because I know they are there but would never want to be surprised by one. I always worry about the dogs and truthfully last time I was there, it appeared to be grandparents, stopped their golf cart and let the kids out to throw food at the gators. I wanted to scream across the lake "are you F@#$#@'n crazy???? they can move very fast...instead I called island patrol and reported them

Usually they just lay there with their mouths opened and look like statues, but when they want to hit the water they move their tails to get there. I couldn't out run one but as dh always says you just don't want to be the slowest runner
