After how well the Baseman items seemed to be pre-selling, I'm surprised they are even on the Macy's website. I thought they were going to be more limited and exclusive.

Macys would have ordered these months and months ago and having them does not have anything to do with how they are selling from Coach directly. I do agree that having them at Macys keeps them from being as "edgy" and "exclusive" as not having them there however.

I called Macys because I was a little surprised that they had any of the items available. From what I was told, there are only 6 of each of the totes and folios available. There are not any in the stores. She may have been incorrect, but when I checked several different states such as California, New York, Texas, Illinois, and Florida, there were none available.

I went ahead and ordered a bunny folio to complete my baseman set. I will let everyone know what the numbering is like when I get it.

Well I think customer service must be wrong because I placed an order for the 2 totes and 2 folios, and it still says 6. I already have the buster tote and the other 3 items on order with Coach, but I thought I would see what happens.

Because Macy's has Baseman items on their website I decided to see if I could get any information out of Coach about the impending 'launch'. So, for what its worth, what I found out was.....

A super nice guy helped me and he was very knowledgeable about the Baseman line and he told me that everything should be in stock and ready to launch 'around the 12th'....that only a few of the items were not in stock yet. People who have placed orders should see the charge on their cc statement 'in the next few days'....the real charge, not the pending charge.

Sorry, I didn't ask what items were still available to order or anything like that.

RIGHT? Though I'm guessing they don't want to do a 'launch' with not all of their stock available.....But what difference does that really make? They had the Peanuts launch without ANYTHING being available! :amazed:
