I got the blue one and totally loved it however with just a cell phone and sunglasses and a credit card case it was crazy heavy and I had to return mine
I am bummed..
Its very heavy rubber and downright uncomfortable to carry...

Oh really? I would be quite disappointed if it turned out to be too heavy to be of practical use!
Does the fact that it has small handles contribute to it being hard to carry around due to its weight?

Mine was delivered on Monday, and I returned it today. I didn't think it was heavy, it seemed heavier than it looked like it would be though. I think it smelled really bad, and it didn't seem like I'd use it all that often after the novelty of it wore off.

Yes, when I picked one up irl, I was amazed at how heavy the bag was. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing. I was expecting something a little lighter. Good thing for a book, sunblock, and a bikini during the summer months - I think that's all one would be able to put inside the bag w/o it feeling like a brick, lol. I jest.

The flats are super cute..they are very fun.

I prefer green (sucker for green), then orange, and pink (I'm not a pink gal).

haha I guess we wouldn't want to stuff these bags full of random things anyway, as people would be able to see! In a way, it could be that not being able to put that much in it maintains its aesthetically pleasing factor! Just a cute bag with a few things in it lol.

I actually think I prefer green the most too, as it seems to weather the winter transition better...? Would you think?
I guess we all eventually grow out of pink, but the other colours we could use for years!

oh just saw this post of you saying its arrived.
you sound less than enthusiastic :(
judging from your words, maybe I should wait around for a while until people start to get bored and sell them on ebay?

Is the smell really rubbery? Hopefully it'll come off with use?
Could you maybe tell us about the smudging or fingerprinting extent of the bag?

Post some pics of the bags and packaging so we can share in your joyy!

Well since I love green I think it's such a wonderful shade to wear with black, browns, white, creams, etc.

I like the orange but if you wear a lot of black, you might appear a bit too Halloween'ish. ;)

Thats a really good point actually, that halloween point. I hadn't thought of that
It would mean that I couldn't carry my bag when i wore black *gasp*

But on second thoughts, the reason I prefer the orange over the green is because its such a summery colour, whereas the green is less so, and my guess is that we won't be wearing that much black in the summer anyway haha.

What do you think about using these kinds of jelly bags in the winter though. With them being semi-transparent, maybe a bit difficult to make it work?

Oh I wear black year round. Guess I was thinking of my personal wardrobe. ;)

Don't think they could work in the winter. Again my .02. These bags are definitely more fun and whimsical. I would retire them to the closet until next S/S.

haha black is a nice colour to allow all your luxury purses to shine, so I think a good wardrobe you have. :)

Yes, I was thinking that it may not work in winter either. To that end, I think i'm changing directions now and leaning towards the orange :p
this just shows how much i fail in making up my mind with regards to these lovely candy bagsss.

I don't think they are $200 bags. They look very well-made, but they really seem like little more than a novelty to me.

The best way I can describe the smell is the smell of a brand new, just out of the package plastic shower curtain. I'm sure it would go away in time, but it totally knocked me back when I opened the box. I didn't notice a lot of fingerprints, but I didn't really keep it to find out. I think it would be more of a lint magnet than a fingerprint magnet.

I don't have any pictures to share because I didn't take any. It was just the bag inside of a white Furla dust bag in a cardboard box with bubble wrap from dillards.com.
