It's because in Japan, they display everything on the shelves for any walk-in customer (if they don't have space to show everything, just ask and the SA will gladly check the back room for you). But elsewhere in the world, availability of Birkins is hush-hush and they usually only display 1-2 on the shelves, if any at all.

Of course many have scored B in FSH!! the question is how many had bought other things before being offered a B or K!!!?? Generally this period stock is low in many countries!:smile1:

I just scored 1 40cm birkin last week at FSH. Was being offered 2 birkins of different size (35 & 40cm) to choose from. They even asked me what size & colour I prefer and was able to show me 2 birkins in the size & colour I have told them.

And I only bought 2 bangles before being offered the birkin. So not sure if it's true that the stock was low or I was simply super lucky!

The nice SA is actually the supervisor of the accessories section. I reserved 2 bangles with her a day earlier and told her that I would like to get a birkin too. So when I came back the next day for the bangles, she actually asked me what colour & size that I would prefer my birkin to be. She is definitely an angel. Angel Christina!:flowers::angel:

I am going to Paris on the Second week of Nov, and I really want to buy a B this time. Hopefully, I can find her there.

It's very annoying! I went to FSH in December last year and had no luck!
I'm going to the US this December so hopefully Vegas will be better stocked! :-)
OP I really think it's about luck and if you bond with the sa, just have to keep trying!

I visit Vegas a lot (we have a place there) and every time I go there are birkins on display at both the encore and crystals Hermes (see my store inventory post from this weekend). Even if they don't have the birkin you want on display, the SAs are all amazing and it doesn't take much for you to build a relationship with them and be offered a birkin in the future. Doctor_top, I definitely recommend coming to the states instead for your bag. The last two times i went to crystals, they had 40cms on display, the first time was an orange togo and this last weekend was rubis epsom. Good luck!

DA Club: that's very good news indeed!! I am planning to visit Las Vegas next year and thinking, if I don't find what I am looking for here, buying something there!! I have my put my hopes there!! :yes::yes::smile1:
