I personally think the size 35 is very good relaxed office bag. I actually use it more as a travel bag, as the handle can be hung on the boarding suitcase. All bags with leather lining tend to be a bit heavier. Hermès does have several models with canvas lining, such as Atlas. But this model is actually quite light for an Hermas bag for its lacking of details… lol

Thanks. I don’t walk that far for work - often just from train to office or car into office so it may be fine. X

Have just bought a 35 in Faubourg barenia to use as a work bag as it fits my laptop. For those that have a 35 how do you find it as a daily user? Does it get heavy or awkward to use with just the top handle? Need to decide whether to return or keep. Love the slouchy cool vibes it gives off.
I have a 35 in Clemence/Swift and love it. It 'just' accommodates my work laptop and so often use it (switching out with my B35 on occasion) to walk to work. My 'commute' is about a mile and the 24/24 is heavy for sure but not terrible.
I also love the cool slouch and the exterior pocket for my phone. It really is a perfect work bag particularly if your commute is via car or public transport.

Thanks. And how have you found the base to hold up given it doesn’t have any feet? X

I just went and peeked at the base and it looks totally fine...no wear on the corners or the base. However, I don't put it on the floor so it is usually sitting on my desk or other surface and thus is less likely to get thrashed.
