French bags?

OH MY....how are U gonna pick? You've got bags that are more structured/classic in shape AND bags that are more casual......AND so many are SO LOVELY! Keep us posted....I suppose you're gonna "go for" something that U would not normally find in the US????

And indeed, I can totally "get" how you feel about finding an independent/local brand......

I know, right? I have such specific taste in bags (as in I either hate or love them), yet it falls all over the place. I haven't decided what I want just yet, i'm going to wait to see IRL. I'm just "pre-searching" on the internet so I know where to go on my big shopping trip. Saves time.

Travelbliss, I like Lancaster well enough, but it's a much bigger company, so it's known in Canada, too. I was wanting something a little more unique and homegrown.

Vanessa Bruno has some cool bags and I really like Loxwood (they have "intrecciato" bags that - for me - are up to Bottega Veneta standards). Zadig & Voltaire is French, if I am not mistaken and they have some nice, slouchy bags in unusual colors.

I saw someone with a heavenly, big, slouchy bag in Dublin recently - it turned out to be a Zadig & Voltaire... I CAN'T WAIT to have one of my very own... If I have to go to Paris to get it, so be it.
