OMG This is HILARIOUS!!!! Love that she started such an ethics debate, even though she appears to have none.

I thought it interesting in her post that she sent a picture to prove she wasn't lying.... when you aren't lying do you generally get defensive about the truth before you have been quesitoned?

There is two possibilities. Either they screwed up or someone ordered the bag either online or from the store and the buyer or order processing forgot to include the giftee's name.

If they screwed up and LV has good inventory control, they will eventually figure it out. Since they do not move massive vloume of goods like Walmart, I don't think it is hard for them to find out if an item is wrongfully-shipped.

If it is a gift, then giftor may be wondering why haven't they received a thank-you card from you yet.

Perhaps you can contact friends and family and see if they are involved!

LoL that;s ridiculous, she was obsviously lying. If you receive a bag by mistake you should receive the receipt with an other name on it, and certainly not you CC number. Also I would not keep a bag that has been sent via error. Also she started the topic saying that she didn't like it. She is probably affiliated to linvinluxurisly and gucci girl ...... I noticed that she was defending those girls all the time.

Sorry the OP pulled a stunt to get banned...

On the subject of getting something not ordered -- I once had a huge Longaberger show (over $1800 worth of orders) when I was a consultant that only bought my own stuff. :p

The show was shipped to me THREE times! I called Longaberger over and over, emailed them and filed many reports online. They never came to pick up the items which were waiting in my garage - 26 boxes total! Finally, about six months later, they apparently caught their mistake and told me to just keep it all. I was stunned! It kinda irritated me because their prices are very high and it's instances such as this one that (IMO) end up costing their customers in the end. But I kept it all -- certainly wasn't going to pay the charges to return it all and they DID say keep it.

Another time when I was a Girl Scout leader, I was sent approximately $600 worth of merchandise from the national store. Called and told them I didn't order it and they had NO record of it. There was no invoice and I made a list of everything in the box and faxed it to them along with a photo of everything. Sent them the UPS tracking # (which by the way, did NOT show up on UPS as a package!). After a few weeks of trying to convince them that they DID send me the package, I just put it away and waited... after about a year, I turned all the merchandise over to the local council (who was aware of the situation from the beginning) and let them deal with it. I think they ended up keeping it and using it.
