It's been rainy lately but we have a cold front moving in with blustery winds so I wore my shadow fox trimmed cashmere wrap with my tanuki trimmed Russian roller hat & tanuki trimmed boots. I hate bathroom shots but since I have no full length mirror, it will have to do.View attachment 4630766 View attachment 4630767
Looks fabulous!! I'm excited for some cool weather down here in Tennessee so I can wear my new raccoon and beaver!

I am seeking opinions. I have been coloring my hair for decades & am considering going gray. My natural gray is more silver & I'm wondering if once I go gray, should I stick to more gray & silver furs. It snowed today & I've had my silver fox coat on while out & about. I would really like a golden isl fox coat but am now wondering if it would not look good with gray/silver hair. Any thoughts or opinions?

Since you said you are “considering” going gray I will give my opinion. I very rarely think women look great with gray hair. I think it can be unnecessarily aging. On the fox issue, I’m not certain the coat has to match hair color. In fact a silver coat and hair color might be even more aging. Maybe. I suppose we’d really have to see you model it but if you love golden fox, why not? Maybe wait until your hair is the color you want then buy the fur. The other option is to say f it and buy what you love now, then rock it regardless of hair color. I’m more inclined to think the latter.

For myself, I have never bought a fur that coordinates or compliments my hair color. My preference is that my coat coordinates with what I'm wearing.

I think silver hair is beautiful. And silver is a neutral color, so I don't believe it will prohibit you from wearing any color.

Thank you, Ladies for your opinions. My stylist has already cut 8 inches off my hair & it's still below my shoulders. She's doing some testing on the hair she cut off to see if she can get enough lift in the color to add silver steaks to blend in the skunk stripe with as little damage as possible. So far, my hair has not lifted enough. I'm just so tired of having to touch up my roots every 3 weeks. I am liking the shorter length, tho.
