I have a fish and one more on the way. I love them! They are sort of stiff and so far mine hasn't peeled. I don't do anything in particular to take care of it. The fish is definitely one of my favorites! HTH!
Which fish leather item did you get?
I love the colors (like on penny):
But the leather looks dry and peely. The leather definitely does not look stiff to me - actually looks very brittle.
It doesn't flake off with no treatment?

Hi cz22... The fish skin is Icelandic product it has a distinctive delicate texture, and a pattern which is centered along the sideline. It is very thin, soft and elastic but stronger than equal thickness of other leather,don't worry it won't peel off.
To butterfly lover....we will work on a butterfly design soon

Oh, sorry cz22...I thought you were talking about the fish charms, not the fish leather.
Duh. I like penny a lot too and have thought about ordering one many times.
Thanks for posting the pirate! You beat me to it Beon and Candy designed that pirate for me. They were so quick with the design and it came out even better than I imagined it would. And, I can also tell you that he's even cuter in person.
