That transformation is unbelievable! You should send photos of before and after to Coach. They keep historical references at their HQ and use them in trainings (my local salesgirls told me this) and I think they'd be blown away at your rehab! Well done! :salute:
hi katev
I hope you don't mind me asking this here.
What do you recommend to use on removing stains on light color like bags' bottoms & edges?
Do you know of any leather cleaner that is heavy duty enough to remove stains without affecting the dye?
Also, I will like to know if you had tried apple leather cleaner before?
If so, how does it compares with meltonian, lexol and leather cpr?
I realized that apple leather cleaner is very strong and it kinds of remove the dye; though it does remove some stains from the edges..
You really need ya own COACH rehab hustle on the side!!!
Beautiful restoration! Thanks for sharing this tip. This makes me want to find a vintage piece in rough condition and see if I can revive it![]()

Hey! I was searching for something else in this thread and found this. Is there any chance that your dark dark navy could be an eggplant purple? I have a tote that is so dark it looks like a cross between blue and black, but in the right light you can tell it's purple. Just curious, and now I want your clutch!
Lovely, I'm going to go get some of that Leather CPR, I have one old bag that's really dry and I tried Lexol and Apple multiple times with no real success. Thanks for sharing!
Yep, I got some today from there. It is great stuff.Leather CPR is also at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It's great stuff!
